Wicker: Despite Bin Laden’s death, ‘War on terror continues’
WASHINGTON (WLOX) –
Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker has released this statement about the death of Osama Bin Laden.
“The news that Osama Bin Laden, a murderer and mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks, was killed confirms America’s resolve to bring this terrorist to justice. Following that dark day in our history, we pledged to end bin Laden’s terror. Countless Mississippians have made significant sacrifices for this effort, and I am thankful for the fighting men and the intelligence professionals who played a part in this operation to accomplish that mission.
