Barbour heads to South Carolina
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) – Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour will be in South Carolina on Saturday as he continues to weigh a possible Republican presidential bid in 2012.
Barbour’s schedule has him in Greenville, S.C., at 9 a.m. Saturday for a speech to the Greenville GOP Convention, follow by an 11 a.m. talk to the Spartanburg, S.C., GOP Convention.
Barbour, who cannot seek re-election this year, has been making the rounds of the early primary states. He has been to Iowa and Nevada. He also has been to California.

Haley Barbour will meet with Republican state legislators in Tallahassee today, kicking off a multi-day trip that will also take him to South Carolina over the weekend.
