Reeves: Mississippi in ‘better shape than most’ fiscally
ELLISVILLE — State Treasurer Tate Reeves, a Republican candidate for Mississippi Lt. Gov., spoke to the Ellisville Rotary Club Monday afternoon on the campus of Jones County Junior College.
It was Reeves’ first trip back to the area since he kicked off his campaign in early February during a meeting of the Jones County Republican Women.
“The campaign is going very well,” Reeves told the Laurel Leader-Call after Monday’s meeting. “I’m very blessed to have a wide range of support from all over Mississippi.”
