Party Switches in Jones and Webster
A couple weeks ago we had placed several Jones county elected officials on our running list of party switchers. At a press conference yesterday, I learned of three additional former Democrats who have qualified for re-election as a Republican: County Attorney Wayne Thompson, Justice Court Judge Howell Beech, Supervisor Danny Roy Spradley. With the four previous, that is seven total switches in Jones county at the qualifying deadline.
As you can see, several Republican officials were at a press conference yesterday announcing the switch.
