Tate Reeves Launches New Website for Lt. Governor Campaign

Mississippi Treasurer Tate Reeves, who announced his candidacy for Lieutenant Governor last month, launched a new website today at www.TateReeves.com.

“Our new website will be a great tool for engaging supporters and volunteers and will provide convenient ways to participate in the campaign. It will also be a great resource for Mississippi voters to learn more about my record and vision for Mississippi as we continue to add more information and new features as the Republican primary approaches on August 2nd,” Reeves said.

The site features information about Tate and his record as Mississippi’s first Republican Treasurer, and utilizes social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Fickr and YouTube. “Social networking sites are used by thousands of Mississippians on a daily basis, and we intend to go where the voters are to get our message out. Those sites allow us to communicate with voters in convenient, cost efficient ways that didn’t exist when I first ran for Treasurer in 2003,” Reeves said.

Reeves has been campaigning on the Mississippi Gulf Coast this weekend where he attended the Pass Christian Mardi Gras parade on Sunday, among other events. Today he is in Jones County where he welcomes several elected officials to the Republican Party this morning and will speak to the Ellisville Rotary Club at Noon.
