Rankin launches mentor program
Rankin County Children’s Mentoring Program has partnered with DREAM Inc. to offer a countywide program aimed to help students in grades 6 through 8.
Mentoring Adolescents Through Commitment and Honor will pair a qualified mentor with a student that has been referred to the organization through Rankin County School District or the county’s Youth Court program.
Sharon McBeth, of the county’s mentoring program, and Glenda Crump, of DREAM, are overseeing the program that marks the first time the two organizations have collaborated.
