2 Of its three games this month in which Florida has failed to score at least 10 points, something the Gators had failed to do only once in the 102 games leading into October. Florida lost to Alabama 31-6 on Oct. 2 and to Mississippi State 10-7 on Oct. 16. Florida lost 36-7 to LSU on Oct. 12, 2002, and scored in single digits only once again — a 31-3 loss to Alabama on Oct. 1, 2005 — until this month. The most recent game in which Florida failed to score at least 10 points that wasn’t played in October was a 30-7 loss to Florida State on Nov. 18, 2000.
