Candidates report financials

Incumbent United States Congressman Travis Childers has raised $1,678,091 as of Oct. 13. Political action committees have contributed the majority of Childer’s financials, $968,982.

Individual contributions made up $707,323 of Childer’s fundraising while the Democratic National convention contributed $793 directly to the Childers campaign.

Childer’s has disbursed $1,442,788 on campaign expenses and had $264,642 on hand with $100,000 of reported campaign debt at the time of his Oct. 13 filing.

Uncategorized contributions made up $993.

Gail Giaramita, of the Constitutional Party, raised a total of $12,730, $10,000 of which came from the candidate’s own coffers. Individuals made up $2,430 of her campaign financing and $11,505 have been disbursed on campaign expenses, leaving her with $1,224 on hand as of Oct. 13.

Uncategorized contributions made up $100.

Independent candidate Les Green reported $39,536 of total campaign fundraising with $32,234 coming from individual contributions and $5,000 from the candidate himself.

Green has disbursed $37,260 and reported $2,276 on hand with $5,000 in campaign debt.

Uncategorized contributions made up $2,302.

Republican State Senator Alan Nunnelee raised $1,186,074 with the majority, $1,186,074, coming from individuals.
