Taylor: I Voted For McCain In 2008
In a Sun Herald article about the effect Nancy Pelosi is having on the Gene Taylor-Steven Palazzo match-up, Taylor noted that he voted for John McCain- the 2008 Republican nominee for president- over Barack Obama. I asked some people on the Coast about this and they said this was the first they had heard about this, and it was certainly the first time I had heard such a statement.
Sen. Joe Lieberman, an Independent from Connecticut who caucuses with the Democrats, openly supported and campaigned with McCain. Obviously, Taylor didn’t do anything near that public (if anything at all).
