Arkansas QB Mallett says he’ll play Saturday
Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett, who suffered a concussion in Saturday’s loss to Auburn, told reporters Tuesday he will play Saturday against Ole Miss.
“I’m 100 percent, ready to go,” Mallett said after the Razorbacks’ practice, according to the Arkansas News Bureau. He said his head felt “great.”
Mallett said he suffered the concussion when he hit his head on the turf while being tackled by Auburn defensive tackle Nick Farley. He told reporters this was his second concussion; he said he suffered the other one his senior season in high school.
