Florida-Alabama in SEC championship no longer likely
Unbeaten two weeks ago, making it to Atlanta for the SEC championship was almost a given for Florida. The Gators spoke with confidence and a quiet certainty. Take care of business in the Eastern Division, the weaker of the two in the SEC, and the Gators would get a chance at revenge against Alabama.
Two embarrassing losses later, the Gators maintain that Atlanta is the goal. Only now, doubt creeps in. They must win out, a task that looks much more difficult after No. 10 South Carolina knocked off former No. 1 Alabama on Saturday.
