Rebels add four more to growing injury list
Injuries – especially to his defense – have forced him to change. Nutt’s Rebels entered Saturday’s 42-35 win over Kentucky with a handful of key players out and left with even more.
Three defensive backs – junior corner Marcus Temple, freshman corner Charles Sawyer and freshman safety Brishen Matthews – suffered concussions.
Sophomore center A.J. Hawkins left late in the game, too, with a stinger.
Their immediate statuses weren’t known Saturday. And since the team was still 14 days away from its next game, the determinations weren’t as pressing.
