New Brees Financial Education Video Game to Help Magnolia State Students Score Financial Touchdowns

On Monday, September 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. CST, New Orleans Saints Quarterback and Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees, Mississippi State Treasurer Tate Reeves and Visa Inc. will be at Bay High School in Bay St. Louis, MS for the Mississippi statewide launch of an educational video game and classroom curriculum called Financial Football.

The centerpiece of Visa’s nationwide educational initiative with the NFL and NFL PLAYERS, Financial Football helps students and adults tackle their financial futures. This free, newly reinvented game is accompanied by a classroom curriculum and is being distributed by Treasurer Reeves to every public middle and high school in Mississippi. The game includes questions created by Brees himself, who appears on the CD cover.
