Mullen not pleased with “sloppy” work
STARKVILLE — After what seems like every practice this preseason, coach Dan Mullen has assessed his team’s work with positive words.
Not today.
The rain-soaked Mullen called his team’s work “sloppy” after an afternoon practice.
“I wasn’t real pleased today,” he said. “I think we’ve done a good job up to this point, improving each day, and did a little bit more live stuff going up against each other. And when that happened, I think we got sloppy. The execution suffered on both sides of the ball.”
