Practice energy pleases Mullen

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen was pleased with his team’s energy in its first practice as a full squad Thursday night. “The one thing we hope, when we leave spring, when we come back out in the fall, that you’re not starting behind. You’re starting at least at the point where we left the spring, or improved,” Mullen said. “And looking at how we ran around today, I think we’re at least where we left off, if not better than we left off in the spring.”
