Target on Gators’ back almost as large as Tide’s

For weeks we have been trying to satisfy the beast that is the passion of college football fans here in the Gator Nation with a variety of items. The Top 25 SEC games, Top 25 SEC players, Daily Football Fix. It has all pointed to Wednesday when, as I have said often, college football season begins with SEC Media Days.
Hoover, Ala., is the starting point for it all when coaches, players and hundreds of media gather for the three-day event that is part family reunion, part kickoff to the season. You can count down the days to the first game, but I count down to Wednesday when it begins with a bang, as both Alabama and Florida are in the big room.
