Mississippi State appears to have inside track but nationally ranked safety uncommitted

The typically reserved Darion Arrington might’ve been a little apprehensive when he first met Mississippi State’s coaches, but that’s no longer an issue.

“I really like talking to them now,” said Arrington, who’s ranked as the nation’s fourth-best safety prospect by Scout.com. “I’ve done it so many times that I’m used to it.”

MSU’s staff seems to have made a good impression on Arrington, who also has scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Alabama, Texas Tech and Memphis.
