With a 1998 meeting with Team Manning at the New Orleans Hilton looming, Tom Condon was pounding the streets, knocking on doors in the Big Easy.
Pants, the man needed pants.
An established sports agent with IMG Worldwide at the time, Condon had done his due diligence after making the final cut as Peyton Manning, an All-American quarterback at the University of Tennessee and the likely No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft, sought representation.
