Tuberville can certainly match Leach’s record of putting his teams in bowl games. For eight straight seasons from 2000-2007 Tuberville and the Tigers played in the postseason, winning five of those games. Tuberville went 5-7 with his final Auburn team in 2008 and stepped down after the season. He openly campaigned for the Tech job and was hired in January. He promises to be like Leach in one respect — Tuberville considers himself a riverboat gambler too.
