LT. GOVERNOR PHIL BRYANT RELEASES STATEMENT ABOUT TOYOTA RESUMING OPERATIONS IN MISSISSIPPI
Tupelo – Lt. Governor Phil Bryant joined Governor Barbour who announced Toyota Motor Corporation’s intent to resume operation in its north Mississippi plant-beginning fall 2011.
Lt. Governor Phil Bryant said, “I was honored to stand with Governor Barbour and the PUL Alliance for this historic announcement. Toyota’s continued commitment to opening the Blue Springs plant is welcomed news. It has always been my goal as Lt. Governor to support job creation that will pull us out of this recession. It is the private sector not Government that will bring Mississippi back to full force.”
