Self is confident KU will remain in a BCS conference
Kansas coach Bill Self wore a multi-colored disco shirt, white bell-bottom pants and two large gold chains around his neck on Friday night at his Basketball Boogie charity benefit at the College Basketball Experience. Certainly, he was glad to talk about doing The Hustle.
But while Self was looking forward to a night of dancing with the rest of the KU basketball family, he also made it clear he thought the Big 12 Conference had some moves to make if the league could stay together. And if the league does disband – which is looking more likely by the day – Self said the Jayhawks would have no problem grooving their way into a suitable conference home for his proud program.
