WTVA – Texas company charged $45,000 for violating no call list

JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) – Public Service Commission Chairman Brandon Presley announced today the Mississippi Public Service Commission has fined a Texas Telemarketer $45,000 for violations of the Mississippi “No-Call” law and rules associated with enforcing the law.

Presley says Mobile Marketing Solutions of Houston, Texas failed to register and purchase the State’s “No-Call” list.

He also says they contacted consumers registered on the “No-Call” list.

Presley says company representatives failed to respond to the Commission’s complaint.
