MSU’s Powers among Ferriss finalists
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State senior first baseman Connor Powers is one of three finalists for the Cellular South Ferriss Trophy, which is given annually to the state’s top college baseball player. Powers joins Ole Miss pitcher Drew Pomeranz and Southern Miss pitcher Todd McInnis.
The award will be handed out on May 24 at the Bologna Performing Arts Center on Delta State’s campus.
