HBO program to profile USC coach Lane Kiffin
From an assistant in the college ranks to a head coach in the NFL, and now the coach of the USC Trojans, Lane Kiffin has had a full career at age 35. HBO chronicles the entire journey in a special profile on Kiffin that will air at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday on “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel.”
Correspondent Andrea Kremer looks back at Kiffin’s tumultuous time as the Oakland Raiders head coach, his short tenure as Tennessee’s coach and his current job as the guy taking over for Pete Carroll.
Also, the HBO program reveals Kiffin is making approximately $4 million per year, which is slightly less than what Carroll made at about $4.4 million annually.
