Long Beach woman sues AG Hood, others for civil rights violations
LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) – A Long Beach woman has filed a $2 million lawsuit against Attorney General Jim Hood and one of his investigators alleging violation of her civil rights.
Juliet Cruthirds Bolling filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Gulfport Wednesday. The lawsuit names Hood, Kenneth N. Allen, an investigator in Hood’s office, and unnamed others.
Bolling alleges she was falsely charged with home repair fraud in November 2007. Bolling owned a florist shop and was not a contractor. However, she admitted to WLOX in 2008 she did witness a home repair contract for an acquaintance, Dallas Eugene Frisbee, who was a home repair contractor.
