Les Miles says Jordan Jefferson has edge in QB race

“The advantage certainly is Jordan Jefferson’s at this point,” Miles said. “Jarrett Lee is continuing to work and compete, and he’s getting better. So is Jordan Jefferson. There’s always a point where the starter realizes there’s a quality backup. I think both guys are rooting for each other, and there’s a pretty healthy position right now. It continues to be that way based on the fact that both guys want to improve and they understand there is competition at the position. I still see that Jordan Jefferson gives us advantages.”
