Have we found Urban Meyer’s replacement?

If Urban Meyer resigns would Gators fans accept Steve Addazio as next head coach?

That’s the first thought that popped into my mind Tuesday morning as I was reading the legendary Jeremy Fowler’s excellent dispatch from the Central Florida Gator Club Monday night in which Addazio gave a fiery motivational address to a bunch of revved up UF fans.

Meyer, as most UF fans know, has a doctor’s excuse and is not making the rounds of the booster club circuit this spring and is sending Addazio in his place. Could this be another way of getting Addazio ready to eventually take over as UF’s next head coach?
