One of nation’s top QBs pledges to Florida
Hagerty (Oviedo, Fla.) QB Jeff Driskel has committed to Florida, Rivals.com reported Monday afternoon. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound pro-style quarterback recently listed the Gators, Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Tennessee as a rough top five.
Driskel, who has run the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds, passed for 1,500 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior and rushed for six more scores. The Hagerty QB is on the Sporting News Top 100 watch list for 2011.
