New filings to unseal records in State Farm vs. MS AG Jim Hood

Today, Jackson New Media, Inc. (owner of Y’allPolitics), WLBT, WLOX and WDAM filed a motion in State Farm vs. Jim Hood (MSSD 2:07cv-188) to unseal a variety of court records.

Basically the Intervenors asked for three things. First, to unseal the settlement agreement between the two parties. Second, to unseal the transcript and/or video deposition of Dickie Scruggs in this matter that was sealed during the pendancy of his criminal proceedings. Finally, the Intervenors asked to unseal in camera testimony that was taken while the case was originally under seal.
