How “smart” is Tim Tebow?
Tim Tebow lags behind other top QB prospects on Wonderlic

According to The Palm Beach Post, Tebow scored a 22 (out of 50) on the Wonderlic test, supposedly a barometer for intelligence. The average for NFL QBs is 24, though expected starters in 2010 averaged out close to 28.5. The last seven Super Bowl winners? They come in at 30.1 (Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Drew Brees).

The scores for this year’s top prospects:

Sam Bradford — 36
Colt McCoy — 25
Jimmy Clausen — 23
Tebow graduated from Florida with a 3.66 GPA. The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner has also earned the National Football Foundation’s William V. Campbell Trophy, better known as the “Academic Heisman.”
