Erin Andrews is joining Dancing With The Stars, meaning she’s entering an area she shouldn’t if she wants to be viewed as a (oxymoron alert) serious sideline reporter. So, more likely, this is her first step off the football sideline to the E! channel or some mainstream entertainment channel. And good for her, if that’s the case.

Andrews evidently wants to stretch her fame off the sideline in a similar way Jason Taylor did (and still might). The issue becomes whether she has the on-air charisma (and looks) to carry it off. Or, as TheBigLead.com asked: Is she just “sideline hot” or can she compete in beauty show of mainstream TV?
