Bulldogs football recruiting: In a Mississippi state of mind

STARKVILLE – One of the first things Dan Mullen promised when Mississippi State hired him was that the Bulldogs would dominate in-state recruiting.
So far, so good.
Of the 20 commitments Mullen has received for the 2010 recruiting class, 15 come from Mississippi’s high schools and junior colleges. One of the recent additions came Tuesday when four-star running back and defensive back Matthew Wells, of Lawrence County High School, gave a verbal commitment to MSU.
