Middle Tennessee Defensive Coordinator Manny Diaz met with Mississippi State Head Coach Dan Mullen today in Starkville and was interviewed for the bulldogs vacant DC job. Diaz visited the campus and athletic facilities and at the end of his visit he was officially offered the job. According to insider information, he accepted the job, and it will be announced tomorrow. Diaz’s Blue Raider Defense was 2nd in the nation in Tackles for Loss and 6th in Sacks. He is the son of the current Miami, Fla Mayor Manny Diaz.
