Notre Dame’s Kelly hires three football assistants
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly can get a little bit more serious about recruiting now that he has added three members to his staff.
Former Indiana State associate head coach Mike Denbrock will coach tight ends, former Cincinnati assistant head coach Mike Elston will coach the defensive line and former Grand Valley State head coach Chuck Martin will oversee defensive backs. All three hires that were announced Tuesday had been rumored since Kelly replaced Charlie Weis.
