Replacing Leach won’t be easy for Tech
In some administrative offices at Texas Tech, officials might be experiencing a sense of relief or even vindication with the firing of Mike Leach.
The feeling will almost certainly be short-lived.
The situation between Leach and Tech was like a dysfunctional “War of the Roses” marriage that ended long before the divorce became official. There’s just one problem with the analogy: Tech can’t stay single. The Red Raiders need a new coach and soon, as a Top 25 recruiting class threatens to dissolve and talk-show callers seethe.
