Expectations are out of control in the SEC
ATLANTA — Anyone who has spent any time at all around Nick Saban knows he isn’t one to talk publicly about expectations.
Expectations, according to the Alabama head coach, are what we in the media and you as fans of college football create. And his job, he says, is to get the players he coaches to stop listening to the expectations from other people and focus on the only expectations that matter: his.
But it is impossible to come to the Southeastern Conference Championship Game and not talk about expectations. Not even for Saban.
