Kentrell Lockett wasn’t sure he’d play. In fact, he thought he’d be watching the Ole Miss-Tennessee game on CBS with the rest of America.
“I thought they’d tell me to stay home and drink a lot of fluids,” the Rebels’ defensive end said.
Trainer Tim Mullins gave Lockett a fake, pumped him full of fluids Friday night in Tupelo and on Saturday, Lockett responded with three tackles, all for loss, and a pass break-up.
