Keep it under your hat, but Les Miles passed Nick Saban at LSU

A well-known college football expert stood up the other day and made this astute observation: “Les Miles has done a fantastic job in the five years he has been at LSU.”

Hard to argue, and the expert who said it, Nick Saban, should know.

Saban, himself, did a fantastic job in the five years he was at LSU. Almost as good a job as Miles, in one respect.
Saban won an impressive 48 games with the Tigers.
One less than Miles after LSU 42, Tulane 0.
Saban put together an outstanding 48-16 record at LSU.
