Ole Miss’ Nutt, Auburn’s Malzahn have some history

It’s a good thing Houston Nutt and Gus Malzahn aren’t paid endorsers of T-Mobile because it would be false advertising.
They certainly wouldn’t be on each other’s Fave Five list.
Saturday’s Ole Miss at Auburn game marks the first time since Malzahn pulled a Johnny Paycheck (“Take This Job and Shove It”) after the 2006 football season, his only year as so-called offensive coordinator under then-Arkansas head coach Nutt, and bolted to Tulsa. That’s where Malzahn found the freedom to use his innovative, up-tempo no-huddle concept that he couldn’t use at Arkansas.
