LSU’s Jefferson suddenly looks spectacular
BATON ROUGE, La. – Two weeks ago, LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson was the poster child of a frustrating season.
On Saturday night, he never looked better.
The sophomore completed 21-of-31 passes for a career-high 242 yards and two touchdowns as LSU breezed to a 31-10 win over Auburn.
Jefferson completed short passes at will and LSU took its yardage in small bites rather than big gulps. There was the occasional deep pass, too, that burned the Auburn defense.
