Back in late August, I sat down with Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury for an extended interview that dealt with his past, his future and his thoughts about his much-hyped 2009-10 Bulldog basketball team. It wasn’t a timely interview, more of a perspective-filled Q&A that could run in any of the future days.
Q: The reason I’m here in August is that there’s a lot of excitement about this season. Do you sense that, maybe moreso than in the past? From fans, people, internally?
A: No, there’s no difference for us.
