Eagles QB Davis lost for season
HATTIESBURG – Southern Miss quarterback Austin Davis will not play the rest of the season after tearing a ligament in his left foot in Thursday’s loss at UAB, coach Larry Fedora announced on Sunday.
The quarterback’s job now falls into the hands of redshirt junior Martevious Young, who will see his first significant game time as a Golden Eagle against Louisville at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
