Diversity in college football coaching
The Big 10 Network has a cool commercial playing during some of its football games. It features the league’s 11 head coaches, whose faces come in rapid succession.
And viewers are hit with a stark realization. These guys all look alike. Ten of them, at least. All but ancient Joe Paterno are white guys in their 40s and 50s, and while Ron Zook would never be mistaken for Bret Bielema, the shortage of diversity is striking.
