GAINESVILLE – For the love of rivalries, Florida fans should send Hallmark cards thanking Lane Kiffin.
Florida-Tennessee barely deserved the rivalry branding a year ago, when numerous Gators players said without hesitation they looked most forward to Georgia and LSU each year. The Vols were flirting with irrelevancy in Gainesville after whimpering through four straight UF losses.

For better or worse, Tennessee Coach Lane Kiffin has changed all that with a grandstanding prediction about beating the Gators and false allegations that Florida Coach Urban Meyer violated NCAA recruiting rules.
