Flu outbreak hits at least 14 Ole Miss players
OXFORD – A day after a 45-14 season-opening win over Memphis, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt is hoping his team won’t be ravaged by the swine flu.
As many as 12 players were expected to miss practice Monday with flu-like symptoms, many of which affected players during their visit to Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on Sunday. Monday’s light workout was closed to media.
