Apologetic Snead shows leadership
MEMPHIS — Tim Tebow and Florida have “The Promise.” If all goes well for Ole Miss this season, maybe the Rebels and Jevan Snead will have “The Apology.”
After an offseason focused on eliminating the interceptions that were the only real downside to his 2,762-yard, 26-touchdown breakout season last year, Snead fell back into old habits in the first half of Sunday’s 45-14 win over Memphis. His rhythm was off, his passes were off-target and two of them found their way into opposing hands.
