No question of Tide’s expectations
I was in Huntsville the other day and an Alabama fan asked me a simple question: What would be considered a successful season for the Crimson Tide?
“It’s Atlanta or bust,” I said quickly.
I regretted making the statement the instant the words came out of my mouth. It was a knee-jerk reaction without even a deep breath. Yet, it was a response dictated by the record and résumé of Nick Saban and the monumental success he has enjoyed on the recruiting trails. It was a testament to his ability. However, was it realistic?
