Relf challenging Lee in QB battle
STARKVILLE — Chris Relf is far from talkative. But his eyes light up and he’s ready to speak when asked if he thought he would be hearing his coaches describe him as in a neck and neck battle with Tyson Lee for Mississippi State’s starting quarterback job.
“You know, I hadn’t played in two years, so I think now is my time to play,” Relf said. “That’s how I see it.”
Something to prove, Chris?
“Yes sir,” he said.
So far, he’s done that – at least as far as August camp is concerned.
