Barksdale remains out of Ole Miss football practice
OXFORD – Ole Miss freshman Darius “Tig” Barksdale remained out of action Wednesday, and there is no timeline for his return.
The school’s head trainer, Tim Mullins, addressed Barksdale’s situation following the Rebels’ wokout.
Barksdale, an All-American at South Panola who is expected to compete for playing time at strong safety, did not dress out for Tuesday’s practice. Afterward Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt was vague on specifics but mentioned the possibility of a heart murmur to reporters.
