Cornyn wants to know who YOU want to be the next President (and a few dollars)

Texas Sen. John Cornyn doesn’t think President Obama should get too comfy in his current occupation. In an e-mail, the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee is asking “a limited number of hand-picked Republicans” to weigh in on who should be the Republican candidate in the 2012 elections. And after they’re done casting their Republican 2009 Proxy Ballot, a “campaign investment” would also be much appreciated.

“To get this nation back on track, our Party needs candid feedback and I know I can count on you for unusually frank talk. More than ever, your Party leadership wants to hear what YOU have to say,” Cornyn implores.

The list of potential presidential candidates includes Haley Barbour, Jeb Bush, Mitch Daniels, Newt Gingrich, John Huntsman, Jr., Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty and Mitt Romney. There’s also a line to write-in a choice.

What’s your vote? Anyone left off the list?
